Scott Owyen, Genie Training Manager, Terex Aerial Work Platforms, joined Genie in 1983 and has held key positions in manufacturing, training, product management and outside sales. Scott serves as the Global Training Manager and focuses primarily on aerial work platform and telehandler operator safety training, train the trainer courses and product training. Scott was also instrumental in the development of the Genie® Lift Pro™ Online Aerial Work Platform and Telehandler Operator Training Programs that have trained over 8,000 operators since they were launched. Scott holds a Professional Training Director Certification from Langevin and is a trusted and recognized speaker in the aerial work platform industry. He has presented at numerous industry conferences such as ConExpo/ConAgg, IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) North American, AEM (Association of Equipment Manufacturers), ARA (The American Rental Association) and the Powered Access Saf-T-Conference. He has also been featured in two Webinars for Lift and Access Magazine.
