Dexter + Chaney and Texas-based TopBuilder Solutions are partnering on integration of TopBuilder’s customer relationship management (CRM) solution with Spectrum® Construction Software. TopBuilder complements Spectrum by providing the ability to create, track and close opportunities with existing clients and develop new leads from prospects with its cloud-based CRM solution. Contractors will have a 360-degree view of their clients—from bid history to real-time views of their accounts and financials. With bi-directional integration, contractors can transfer customer information from Spectrum back into TopBuilder and automatically send satisfaction surveys, referral campaigns and warranty follow-ups for a complete sales delivery and customer retention cycle.

Verizon Acquiring Fleetmatics

Verizon Communications Inc. will acquire Fleetmatics Group, a provider of fleet and mobile workforce management solutions. Fleetmatics’ Web-based solutions provide fleet operators with visibility into vehicle location, fuel usage, speed, mileage and other insights into their mobile workforce to reduce operating costs and increase revenue. Verizon Telematics, a subsidiary of Verizon Communications, operates in more than 40 markets worldwide and offers comprehensive wireless, software and hardware solutions to consumers, enterprises, automakers and dealers to power connected-vehicle products around the world. In July, Verizon Telematics acquired Telogis, Inc., a global, cloud-based mobile enterprise management software company based in Aliso Viejo, Calif.
