Patrick Copeland is the Vice President of R&D at PlanGrid, the leader in construction productivity software, where he leads the company’s engineering, product, and design efforts. He spent nearly 21 years leading hardware, mobile, cloud systems and algorithm teams. In his most recent role at Google as Senior Engineering Director, Copeland built a cross-discipline team of 300 employees and led the strategy, product, engineering, and expansion of several wireless projects, including the recently announced Google WiFi. For the past decade, Copeland worked in multiple areas at Google, including access, research, infrastructure and advertising.
